Anopheles earlei

Anopheles earlei are typically found in habitats with permanent and/or semi-permanent water. The larvae can be found in the shallow margins of cool, well-vegetated waters and occasionally in woodland pools, marshes, bogs, and along the margins of sluggish streams. This species feeds on mammals, attacking mostly at dusk or shortly after dark. Adult females may enter homes to feed.
