Aedes cinereus

Aedes cinereus is a multivoltine, late spring species found in temporary water and re-flood habitats. It is often found in tussock and leather-leafed marshes, woodland pools, and unshaded, temporary, rain-filled pools. The species does not fly far from its breeding site, making it a localized spring and summer pest of humans and other mammals.
